Position Overview
Bonjoy is expanding its footprint in the Houston market, and we’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to spearhead the delivery of our software solutions within the oil & gas sector. This pivotal role demands an extensive background in software project management, coupled with a deep understanding of the industry’s unique challenges and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, outlining scope, timelines, and resource requirements for software solution delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining clear & proactive communication to ensure project objectives are met.
• Resource Management: Collaborate with development teams, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to allocate resources effectively and meet project milestones.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing process to ensure software products meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within scope.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and forecasts, making adjustments as needed to ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored software solutions.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with oil & gas industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed guidance and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills & the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with software development processes and technologies used in the industry (e.g., IoT, data analytics, cloud solutions).

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management experience in software development and implementation within the oil & gas market.
• Certifications such as (Project Management Professional) or Agile certifications.
• Knowledge of low-code technology platforms such as Mendix.
