Position Overview
As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Oil & Gas Solutions, you’ll be the bridge between upstream operators and product suite. You’ll analyze complex operational data, identify inefficiencies, and design solutions that transform how energy companies manage their operations. Working directly with leading oil & gas companies, you’ll conduct operational assessments, develop ROI models, and guide implementations that deliver measurable improvements in production efficiency, safety compliance, and cost reduction across upstream assets. This role combines deep industry expertise with analytical excellence, offering the opportunity to shape the future of digital transformation in one of the world’s most critical industries.

Key Responsibilities Operational Analysis

• Analyze upstream production data and operational metrics.
• Identify inefficiencies in field operations and maintenance.
• Assess current workflow processes and technology gaps.
• Develop baseline performance benchmarks.
  
   

ROI & Business Case Development

• Build comprehensive ROI models for CFW implementations.
• Calculate cost savings from reduced downtime and efficiency gains.
• Develop business cases for digital transformation initiatives.
• Present financial justifications to C-level executives.
  
   

Requirements & Solution Design

• Lead client workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Design custom workflows for upstream operations.
• Specify integration requirements with SCADA and ERP systems.
• Create detailed functional specifications.
  
   

KPI Dashboard & Reporting

• Design production and operational KPI dashboards.
• Create executive reporting frameworks.
• Develop safety and compliance monitoring systems.
• Build predictive analytics reporting tools.
  
   

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Engineering, or Analytics.
• 7+ years in oil & gas upstream operations or consulting.
• 5+ years business analysis and process improvement experience.
• Experience with enterprise software implementations.

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerBI/Tableau.
• Strong background in data analysis and statistics.
• Experience with process mapping and workflow design.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  
   

Preferred Qualifications Industry Experience

• Direct experience with SCADA systems and PI Historian.
• Knowledge of upstream drilling and production processes.
• Understanding of HSE regulations and compliance.
• Experience with oil & gas ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
